Beijing Edge Out Liaoning 84-81

Mengke Bateer scored a game-high 38 points with 13 boards to boost the Beijing Ducks to a road win over the Liaoning Hunters 84-81 yesterday.

Beijing has won 16 of its last 19 games, still dominating the North Division, while Liaoning, loser of 11 of its past 19 games, ranked the fourth after this loss.

Williams Nate connected on 21 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in the win. Guard Zhang Yunsong had 14 points and contributed 4 assists.

Four Hunters reached double-figures as Liu Xiangtao tallied 22 points with 11 rebounds, Butler Reggie netted 18 points and Yang Ming and Zhang Qingpeng added 16 and 15 respectively in defeat.
