Remarks
Larry, boat757@yahoo.com

The facts in this incident are still not known. Everyone should calm down and ask himself or herself how a 1950's design 4 engine propeller aircraft can outmaneuver a small, nimble fighter. This is like a Porsche getting caught by a large truck. We hope the pilot can be rescued.

Gilbert, gilbert@pub.zhongshan.gd.cn

It was an accident!!! Both sides don't like this to happen.

Jimmy Lee From Foreign Studies University

As to the tragic incident, we should make clear two ``facts'': First, was the United States Navy spy plane at tentatively bumping into Chinese tracing fighter and causing its fatal nosedive? If that is the case, the US, no matter how powerful and wealthy it is, should feel guilty for the provocation, and held accountable for the missing Chinese pilot and his family. US must apologize to Chinese people and its government for what it did, and compensate for the damaged property! Second, if it was a genuine accident, as the US Pacific Command claimed, the US side should express its true feelings about the missing Chinese pilot, and his anxious family, especially. The US government should thank China for letting its damaged spy plane land on its airport, and its 24 spying staff being taken good cares of. Then, the two huge countries should close the episode quickly, and from now on, either of the two states should not do anything that will hurt their relations.

It is quite clear who was to blame for the collision! It is America's EP-3 that deliberately tried to ram one of two Chinese fighter jets and that one Chinese jet crashed. So we can't let the 24 Americans go easily! Bush administration should say sorry to all Chinese! Or China should give them some color see!

When the US bombed the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade, the US said it was a MISTAKE caused by the damn map. When the US spy plane intruded the Chinese airspace, it claimed for "SOVEREIGN STATUS" of the damn plane that landed in the Chinese soil without approval. That's the damn logic of the US!!!!!

Kook, koko7912@sina.com

Here they come again! Impudence, the motto of US (not us), has never been buried in oblivion by the politician of that so-called promising land. Look at the crime they committed after the second world war, the Korean people are suffering from the separation; the Vietnamese mother cried out their eyes for their sons killed in the war. The Iraqi children are dying from hunger; the three Chinese journalists lost their lives for their great course. The Cuban boy struggled to reunite with his beloved father and brother.... It's time for the world to think, to react!

Anger, anger@sina.com

A Japanese fish boat, 9 lives; a Chinese plane, 1 live. Why always US killers? Why always Asia? To defend our country, to fight against invaders, we cannot restrain our anger anymore; it is the time to tell Mr. Bush that we are human beings, not mummies.

Leon, leon@li.com.cn

Please, give us a reason that we can love you. You disappointed us for another time. You are the Human Right Guard, aren’t you? But why didn't you show any sympathy to our pilot who might have died while asking Chinese government to protect your men? Come on, not to hurt our Chinese again and again. China has more than 1.2 billion people. Do you know what does the 1.2 billion mean? Let us tell you. You will know .We promise.

Two years ago, five bombs seized the lives of our fellowmen, their blood can never be erased from the hands of US' killers, and surly not from our memory of the terrible conspiracy. Yesterday, US intruders ride on a spy plane used for eavesdropping, they came without our invitation and even without our permission, then let them be our 'honorable guests', stay in our beautiful country for a life time. Want to leave without our permission for a second time? NO WAY!
