Four students from Chinese mainland have won two gold and two silver medals in the 15th International Biology Olympic Competition.
Chinese Taipei students won one gold and three silver medals.
Altogether 163 competitors from 42 countries and regions participated in the competition.
The US competitors took home the most gold, winning four gold medals.
Zhou Teng from Fujian and Yang Lu from Chengdu won gold medals while Li Jingjing from Hefei east China and Zhang Hongkang from Hunan won the silver medals.
