China and Pakistan signed an agreement Saturday under which telecoms manufacturer ZTE will expand its existing manufacturing facilities and the software network in Pakistan.
The expansion project that will cost about US$50 million will be completed within next two to three years. It will include research work and producing telecoms products. The company has already established switching equipment system in Pakistan. It is also providing billing and customer services for Pakistani clients.
