China will make more efforts to promote domestically-made sedans and auto parts in the international market.
Deputy Minister of Commerce Wei Jianguo told a press conference in Beijing that exporting sedans represents a country's industrial capabilities and competitiveness in the global economy.
From now on, China will offer financial support and export credits to a select group of enterprises producing vehicles and auto accessories.
The selected enterprises are required to have defined trade marks, efficient production methods and a large amount of existing exports.
The initiative aims to make China a key supplier of vehicles and auto parts in the world market.
