The profit of China's auto manufacture industry in the first half of this year dropped 62.65 percent year on year.
According to latest figures from the China Automotive Industry Association, the profit of refit car, auto engine and spare part manufacture sectors dropped 50.04, 30.50 and 29.21 percent year on year respectively.
Only the motorcycle manufacture sector witnessed its profit growing 4.16 percent year on year during the period, according to the association.
In the first six months, the profit of auto industry in China totaled 22.55 billion yuan (US$2.8 billion), down 48.16 percent year on year.
The sales income of auto spare part manufacturers during the period grew 16.37 percent year on year, ranking the first in all auto subfields. The sales income of refit car, motorcycle, auto engine and auto manufacturers respectively rose 8.06, 8.06, 3.51 percent and dropped 2.52 percent.
Meanwhile China's auto exports registered a total of 38.94 billion yuan in value, jumping 44.17 percent year on year.
