Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao signed for issuing the regulation concerning exported and imported goods quarantine.

The regulation included 63 items of six chapters, covering the quarantine of imported goods and exported goods, supervision management, and legal accountability. The regulation will go into effect from December 1, 2005.

According to the regulation, the State Administration of Quality Supervision and Quarantine (SAQSQ) should stipulate and adjust the goods item 30 days ahead of implementation.
