Walt Disney Corporation has announced that it will not build a theme park on the Chinese mainland before 2010, reported China Radio International on Thursday.
The decision was made by the corporation's president, Jay Rasulo. Rasulo notes that neither the Chinese government nor his company have formulated a plan to build a theme park but indicates Disney hopes to build two theme parks in China in the future.
At present, Disney's Hong Kong theme park is being constructed and is due to open before 2006.
