Exorbitant Price for Spring Festival Dinner

As China's most important festival the Spring Festival is approaching, businesses are holding the yearly golden opportunity to organize their theme performances.

A restaurant in Guangzhou city in south China's Guangdong Province has launched an expensive festival dinner, which is priced at 88,000 yuan or more than US$11,000.

The dinner includes shark fins, sea-ear and fruits imported from Hawaii. But what makes it special is the wine that will be served, it is said to have been made during the Qing Dynasty, 160 years ago. It's the only liquid culture relic in the world that can still be drunk. The price of the wine has reached 30,000 yuan for 500 grams.

The restaurant says the cost of the dinner is more than 90,000 yuan. They just offered a favorable price for the festival.

However consumer response to the dinner is not known.
