The true story of late Chinese policewoman Ren Changxia who died on a mission last year will soon be seen on the big screen.
The movie will depict her courage and determination to risk her life to tackle crimes, as well as her home life as a wife and mother.
Ren was the director general of the Public Security Bureau in Dengfeng City, Henan Province. Stories about her devotion to public safety and the good deeds she did for people during her lifetime have spread all over China.
Actress Zhang Yu plays the role of Ren. The project also attracts a legion of veteran actors and actresses including Wang Qingxiang, Tao Yulin, Wu Jing'an and Eric Tsang.
The movie is currently shooting in Ren's hometown and will hit cinemas next month.
