Mom Sued by Teenager for Love Letter Hunt

A high school graduate took his mother to court recently for searching his bedroom for a love letter.

The mother said she searched the room to find some proof of a romantic relationship she thought her son had been involved in but came out empty handed.

She said she had been worrying about his son's low scores in school and decided to stop his dating so he could focus on studies in preparation for the National College Entrance Examinations.

She berated the son when he confronted her after she found nothing and said he was not studying hard enough. They quarreled the whole night, and their relationship turned very cold.

After receiving the suit, the court decided that the boy should soon participate in the NCEE and therefore postponed the hearing until after he finished the exams.

With the examination over, the boy made an inquiry about his case. A judge persuaded him to drop the case because his mother had good intentions when she searched the room and his mother would get hurt with a court hearing.

The boy listened to the judge and dropped the case.
