The Beijing International Airport announced Monday it will lower the price of its catering services.
The price-adjustment action will cover Chinese food, Western cuisine and fast food, with the biggest price cut of 40 percent.
Since last year, the airport welcomed domestic and international brands such as Starbucks, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Roger's and Yonghe soy bean milk. The gastronomy street downstairs and on the third floor attracted passengers in and out of the airport. Some restaurants even offered 24-hour service.
The airport said it will strengthen price control methods in the future, in order to satisfy the needs of passengers.
