Contest of Man-made Beauty Broadcast Live on TV

After presenting an audience-rating heat TV show of Super Girl gala, TV programmers in central China's Hunan Province, brought out another sensation of man-made beauty contest along with real plastic surgery scenes of the contestants.

The curtain of the 4-month long contest fell on Friday night, 22-year-old man-made beauty Yao Xiting distinguished herself from 14 contestants, who all experienced 14 items of star-making plastic surgery in September last year.

The surgeries including breast augmentation and teeth rectification were broadcast live on a popular Internet website, which cooperated with the TV channel to win supporters for the program.

Like the Super Girl singing show, the beauty contest sparked a nationwide debate, while garnering a high audience rating. Some viewers complained that the surgery process on TV and the Internet was bloody, and the contest was immoral.
