Versatile Hong Kong pop star Kelly Chan has been awarded World's Outstanding Youth in Japan.

Kelly was the only winner from Chinese Hong Kong this year and the first Hong Kong female artist to receive this honor. 

Overwhelmed by excitement at the awards, Kelly expressed her appreciation and promised to work harder.

Kelly's father accompanied her to Japan and bizarrely disclosed at the press conference that he already has a concept for Kelly's jewelry dowry.
