Hong Kong evergreen actress Carina Lau turns a new leaf in her career by running an around the clock commerce TV Mart channel.

As the marts' CEO, Carina Laund officially opened the television channel at a grand ceremony in Hong Kong Wednesday. It was also Carina Lau's birthday.

The project has already cost 188 million Hong Kong dollars.

Several partners from Taiwan, Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong are reportedly financing the TV channel.
