Chinese action star Jackie Chan has donated specially made clothing to the elderly for warmth and support during the winter season.

After receiving some of the clothing, an elderly woman was so touched that she kissed Jackie Chan.

During the event, Chan stated that the film industry will also attempt to assist people in disaster-struck areas get back on their feet, and that large-scale fundraising events are currently being discussed.

Though Jackie Chan has a tight schedule, he says he will do everything he can to help those in need.

On Dec. 29, Jackie Chan donated 500,000 Hong Kong dollars (US$70,000) to UNICEF for the tsunami relief work.
