International movie star Zhang Ziyi will play the lead in a musical film by Japanese director Seijun Suzuki. 

The 25-year-old Zhang Ziyi is not afraid of putting on a song and dance show, having learned dancing from childhood.

However, language problems are expected to be a challenge for her.

She has just finished shooting Chinese director Zhang Yimo's Kungfu movie House of Flying Daggers, or Shimian-Maifu in Chinese.

Seijun Suzuki is a famous director in Japan. His Tasogare Seibei has a nomination for this year's Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars.
