China's original rock star Cui Jian has brought a lawsuit against three illegal publishers for violating his copyright.
A music store and two record companies are involved in the lawsuit.
Cui Jian demanded the respondents destroy all the pirated CDs and asked for compensation totaling 330 thousand Yuan or about US$41,000.
The local court in Beijing's Chaoyang district has accepted the case.
