Experts attending the China(Hangzhou) International Conference on Environmental Society and Environmental Education held recently in Hangzhou, capital city of east China's Zhejiang Province, advised that Hangzhou build a large outdoor museum around the famous West Lake so as to turn everything of the West Lake, including mountains, water, grass and trees, into exhibits inside the large outdoor meseum.
Experts' suggestions have arosed great concern among leaders of the city. It is learnt that related preparations are under way and departments concerned are working out relevant plans.
According to those experts, their intention of building the outdoor museum is to effectively protect and rationally tap the resources of the West Lake, including plants, water source and birds, and let local residents to participate in the move of environmental protection.
