Macao will usher in a new music season this October with the 18th Macao International Music Festival. The 24-day event will bring together renowned artists and orchestras from all over the world.
With the theme "Golden melody and romantic Macao", the festival is sure to set the city ablaze this Fall. It will open with a French version of the opera Romeo and Juliet, and end on a high note with the Broadway hit Chicago.
This year's event will highlight classical music. But pop music lovers of all ages will also find their favorites. The event is scheduled to run from October 8th to 31st.
For the past seventeen years, the Macao International Music Festival has evolved into a major musical event and has promoted communication between Macao and the rest of the world.
