Bamboo Slip Version of Anti-secession Law

Xiao Wenfa completed a bamboo slip version of the anti-secession law in Hunan's Shaoyang City on Apr. 14th. The 86.4 cm long bamboo slip folding sheet is elaborately fabricated with 72 pieces of 26 cm long, 1.2 cm wide bamboo in 8 layouts.

The anti-secession law is written in traditional Chinese in the popular xing and kai calligraphy style. The box adopts Xiao's special packing box technique, which was awarded a state innovation patent in 1999. The exquisite bamboo slip-sheet and the firm box blend deep emotion, consummate skill, and law, making the artwork a solemn, elegant and classic collection.

Xiao is the first to make a bamboo slip version of a complete Chinese law.
