A pair of precious cultural relics from the reign of Qing Dynasty Emperor Qianlong (1735 - 1796) has returned to China from the Europe and will be displayed to the public on May 11 and 12 in Beijing.
The cultural relics are a pair of lanterns with silk embroidered couplets. They will be auctioned during the Tianjin State Auction Company's spring sale, together with another 200 pieces of precious cultural relics from the Ming and Qing dynasties.
The auction company has valued the lanterns at five or six million yuan.
