A collection of social investigations and study papers and speeches of late Chinese leaders has been published by the Literature Publishing House of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, Xinhua was told on Monday.
The book features analects, speeches and study papers composed by China's late top leaders, including Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Liu Shaoqi, Zhu De, Deng Xiaoping and Chen Yun.
The passages grant readers an insight into the experience and approaches of the CPC in leading the country's revolution, construction and reform, and explain how the Party studied China's social realities to draw up appropriate policies.
The late leaders made many incisive remarks on -- and indeed carried out themselves -- social investigations and studies, an editor of the book said, adding that their remarks and reports have played a significant role in guiding the Chinese people along the correct path of development.
"The book is aimed at helping in-service leaders know the tradition of the Party and study the theories of and approaches to social investigations and studies," the editor said on condition of anonymity.
