The 26th Harbin Summer Music Festival, featuring performers from home and abroad, opened Tuesday in Harbin, capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province.
The festival is jointly organized by the Chinese Ministry of Culture and the Harbin City Government. During the 10-day festival, more than 80 concerts and dance and drama shows will be staged with performances by artists from Austria, Britain, Poland and other nations.
The beautiful summer city of Harbin has become one of the major concert centers in China. More than 150 performances by Harbin residents will be staged in city squares.
