After dozens of years in the rock scene, Chinese rock icon Cui Jian is planning to made his own film.
The manager of Zhongbo Pictures, Chen Weiming says this film is written and directed by Cui Jian himself.
The music album with the same title by the singer has been released earlier this year. Chen says since Cui is a musician, music will take a critical part in this film.
Cameraman Christopher Doyle has promised to cooperate with Cui Jian, but he has been busy shooting films in New York.
With the Cultural Revolution as the lead, the film will depict two generations' life experiences. Cui hopes to use different colors to represent various stories and people's attitudes.
