Shooting of Jackie Chan's new action comedy Baby has wrapped-up on Tuesday in Beijing.
A grand closing ceremony has been held with major cast members in attendance, including Hong Kong stars Jackie Chan, Michael Hui and Louis Koo, and Chinese mainland actress Gao Yuanyuan along with her baby boy Matthew.
In the HK$130 million action film by New Police Story director Benny Chan, Jackie Chan plays a gambling-addicted thief who along with two other crooks, played by Michael Hui and Louis Koo, kidnaps the infant grandson of the richest woman in town.
The original plan is to hand over the baby to a gang leader, played by Chinese mainland actor Chen Baoguo, for some quick cash. But when the middleman is unexpectedly detained by police, the three kidnappers are left to deal with the baby by themselves.
Somehow, the little hostage warms their hearts and they decide to do the right thing against the orders of the gang leader.
Other cast members include Gao Yuanyuan from Shanghai Dreams who plays Jackie Chan's on-screen girlfriend, and On-on Yu who plays the baby's mother.
