Chinese actress and director Xu Jinglei has been invited to sit on the jury of this year's Thessaloniki Film Festival in Greece.
Xu's latest film Dreams May Come will be screened at the festival, which opens on November 17.
Derek Elley, one of organizers of the festival sent the invitation to Xu and selected 22 Chinese movies for special screening out of competition.
Xu's other two movies, I Love You and The Train Heads to Spring, are also on the screening list.
The Thessaloniki International Film Festival has become the Balkans' primary showcase for the work of new and emerging filmmakers as well as the leading film festival in the region. The event features an international section, a panorama of Greek films, the New Horizons program, the Balkan Survey and numerous retrospectives and tributes to leading figures in the world of film.
