Twenty-one James Bond films with six different stars have been produced in 45 years, but the latest flick in the long-running franchise
Casino Royale will be the first to screen on the mainland.
The entire production crew, including controversial new Bond, actor Daniel Craig, is expected to attend the film premiere in Beijing on January 29.
Shanghai Morning Post reports the co-production company Columbia Pictures says director Martin Campbell and bond girl Eva Green will also attend.
The crew plans to head south to meet fans in Shanghai the day after the Beijing premiere.
The movie will available in cinemas across China from January 30.
The movie was not cut in any way after SARFT's examination process for screenings.
Casino Royale has already made US$305 million in box office takings outside the United States and the outlook for the movie in China looks promising.
The Da Vinci Code was the best perfoming foreign film at China's box office this year, generating 104.8 million yuan. The high-profile new Bond movie is expected to break its record.
