Russian delegation head Alexander Alexeyev Wednesday expressed the hope that the working group meeting of six-party talks will be reopened in mid September.
Alexeyev, also deputy foreign minister of Russia, made the suggestion in his keynote speech at the plenary session of six-party talks yesterday morning.
He said that the working group meeting aims to reduce differences among the parties concerned.
The fourth round of six-party talks on the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue entered the second day of negotiations yesterday. Delegations from China, the US, Japan, Russia, South and North Korea attended the first plenary session in the morning.
