Ingredients: 500 grams (1.1 lb) lotus root 100 grams (7 2/3 tbsp) sugar 10 grams (2 tsp) white vinegar 100 grams (6 tbsp) water
Directions: 1. Wash the lotus root clean and cut it across the grain into slices 0.3 cm (0.12 inch) thick. Wash clean again, drain off the water and put in a basin.
2. Put water in the pot. Add sugar and bring to a boil. When the sauce thickens, add the vinegar and the lotus root and soak for 1 hour. Then it is ready to serve.
Features: Snow white in color, crispy and soothing to the mouth. Taste: Sweet with a sour touch.
