China will take measures to ensure the stable supply of coal during winter time, according to a circular jointly issued by four Chinese ministries.

The northern part of China should pay more attention to electricity and central heating supply. Different coal enterprises throughout China should improve coal product quality.

Transportation departments should well arrange coal transportation plans according to different conditions of city coal demand, giving priority to key electricity plants and urban residents, according to the circular from the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Railways and Ministry of Communications.
