He Luli, vice chairwoman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC), met in Beijing Tuesday with a delegation led by Daniel Gomes, defense minister of Guinea-Bissau.
Noting the sound cooperation between China and Guinea-Bissau in the fields of politics, economy and culture over the past few years, she said that the Chinese government values highly bilateral friendly cooperative ties.
She expressed her appreciation for Guinea-Bissau's stance of sticking to the one-China policy.
Gomes said Guinea-Bissau will continue to pursue the one-China policy.
The government of Guinea-Bissau highly appreciates China's domestic and foreign policies and economic achievements and thanks China for offering assistance to Guinea-bissau, he said.
