Andrea Bocelli to Open Solo in Beijing

World-famous blind Italian Singer Andrea Bocelli will play his first solo concert in China at the Great Hall of the People, Beijing, on October 15th.

Andrea Bocelli shot to fame with the smash-hit track "Time to Say Goodbye", which he sang with British female singer Sarah Brightman in 1997.

Bocelli's name has been compared to famed singer Luciano Pavarotti and is often called the 'fourth tenor'.

Born in Italy in 1958, teenager Bocelli went blind after being accidentally injured while playing football.
