Israeli missile strikes since Sunday night have killed 11 Palestinians and wounded more than 60 others in the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis, Palestinian security sources and medics reported Monday.
Medics at Nasser Hospital in the city of Khan Younis said that the 11 Palestinian bodies reached to the hospital torn-off limbs and the 60 wounded are between serious and moderate conditions. They said that three Palestinians were killed in the early Israeli strike on a group of Palestinians in Baten al Semen area Sunday night while four others were killed shortly after the early Monday air strike.
Meanwhile, Israeli pilot-less drone plane fired at least two missiles on security outposts in al Namsawi neighborhood where two of Palestinian policemen were killed and more than 10 others wounded.
Also on Monday morning, an air strike targeted Palestinians near a cemetery. Medics at Nasser hospital said two Palestinians were killed and two wounded in critical condition as each had lost a limb in the attack.
The security sources reported that about three dozens Israeli tanks and armored vehicles had raid the city of Khan Younis on Sunday evening where the tanks opened intensive fire on the residents' houses.
Witnesses said on Monday that Israeli army troops are still razing and bulldozing the residents' houses and cultivated lands in Baten al Semen area.
