Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing had telephone conversations in Beijing Tuesday respectively with the European Union's (EU) foreign and security policy chief Javier Solana, and Dutch Foreign Minister Bernard Bot.
Li conferred with them on the upcoming seventh China-EU leaders' meeting, and on pressing ahead with Sino-EU comprehensive strategic partnership.
Solana reaffirmed that it is a priority goal of the EU's foreign policies to enhance EU-China cooperation, and Bot said the Netherlands, which is currently holding the EU's presidency, will make joint efforts with China for substantial achievements from the seventh China-EU leaders' meeting.
