Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao says he hopes trade between China and Indonesia will hit US$20 billion a year in the near future.
Wen Jiabao held talks with Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in the Laotian capital of Vientiane.
China and Indonesia have agreed to establish strategic partnership and broaden economic and trade ties.
Wen Jiabao says he values the Indonesia's status in regional and international affairs and wants to push for the closer relationship with Indonesia.
