Chinese, African Ruling Parties Vow to Further Ties

A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) met in Beijing Tuesday with an African ruling parties' delegation. They vowed to push forward Sino-African friendship and cooperation through party-to-party exchanges.

Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, elaborated China's stance on major international issues, especially the reform on the UN, sources with the department said.

The delegation is composed of about 20 representatives from the ruling parties of Cameroon, Djibouti, Guinea, Equatorial Guinea, Madagascar, Niger, Rwanda, Seychelles and Togo.

The African officials will also tour Heilongjiang and Shandong provinces.
