Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing held working talks in Beijing on Tuesday with Armando Loaiza, foreign minister of the Republic of Bolivia.
China and Bolivia forged diplomatic ties in 1985. The two ministers vowed to take the 20th anniversary of the establishment of ties as an opportunity, to promote the friendly and reciprocal cooperation between the two countries.
Loaiza said Bolivia will continue to abide by the one-China policy and make more efforts to expand cooperation with China in bilateral and multilateral areas.
The two ministers also exchanged views on bilateral relations as well as on international and regional issues of common concern.
Loaiza is in China for an official visit from November 20 to 25 at the invitation of Li.
