Premier Wen Jiabao said in Beijing Tuesday that China appreciated Nepal's consistent support for China on Taiwan and Tibet issues.

When meeting with visiting Nepali Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs KP Sharma Oli, Wen said China hopes that Nepal could realize political reconciliation, social stability and economic development at an early date.

Premier Wen said China will try its best to provide assistance to Nepal.

Oli said the Nepali government is grateful for China's long-term political support and economic assistance and will continue to adhere to the one-China policy.

Nepal will not allow "any foreign forces to conduct anti-China activities on the Nepali territory," Oli said.

Oli is paying an official visit to China from August 26 to September 2 at the invitation of Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing. Besides Beijing, Oli also visited Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region.
