State Councilor Chen Zhili met in Beijing on Monday with Richard Levin, president of the Yale University of the US.

Levin will leave for Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, on Tuesday to attend the fourth leadership symposium between China and the Yale University.

Minister of Education Zhou Ji was present during the meeting.

Levin led a 100-member delegation comprising students and faculty of Yale University to China in May.
