Bush Looks Forward to Chinese President Jiang's Visit
A spokesman for the United States National Security Council (NSC) said on Wednesday that President George W. Bush looks forward to a visit by Chinese President Jiang Zemin.

NSC spokesman Sean McCormack told a news briefing: "President Bush looks forward to welcoming President Jiang to his ranch in Crawford," Texas, adding that "the president looks forward to seeing President Jiang again, but this time (he is) welcoming him to his home."

He added that the two leaders are going to have "some good discussions on a lot of important issues."

"It's an important relationship that we have with China," McCormack said.

Both China and the United States have announced that President Jiang will pay a visit to the United States before the informal leaders meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation scheduled to be held in Mexico.
