In August, China witnessed an influx of more than 9.7 million foreign tourists, about 10 percent more when compared with the same period last year.
The total number of foreign visitors from January to August has reached 70 million, a 20 percent increase.
In addition, the numbers of travelers from different continents all showed a double digit growth.
