A passenger plane belonging to Hong Kong's Ganglong Airlines, en route from Kunming to Hong Kong, safely returned to its origin 15 minutes after taking off on Sunday afternoon.
Pilots discovered a five-centimeter crack in the plane's front windshield, and immediately decided to return to the airport.
The cause of the crack is still under investigation.
Most of the passengers that were onboard the plane have now departed Kunming on other flights.
