Burst Tires Cause Flight Delay in Hong Kong

A flight of Cathay Pacific found one set of tires burst when it was ready to take off, which led to the delay of more than 20 flights at Hong Kong International Airport on Wednesday.

Flight CX289 was preparing to leave Hong Kong for Frankfurt when it found the burst tires on the runway at mid-night. The airport closed for half an hour to clear the runway, causing the delay of 23 flights.
