China's first budget airlines Spring Airlines has stopped selling extremely cheap tickets due to complaints from other airline companies.
Sold online, the cheapest tickets from Shanghai to south China's Nanchang city cost less than 25 dollars.
While the move has been welcomed by costumers, the company, at the same time, received complaints from other airline companies.
Liu Weimin, the spokesman for Spring Airlines confirms the fact, but defends his company.
"The Civil Aviation Administration of China has some complaints about us and have criticized our policy of cheap air tickets. But we determine our ticket price, not aiming at a race to occupy market sales but to develop our electronic commerce.
We don't compete with any airline company. We just want to develop our business on tourism. Our main sources of costumers are tourists' groups. Our markets don't contradict with each other."
