Harbin Attracts Tourists with Industrial and Mountain Tours

As one of the traditional industrial bases in northeast China, Harbin attracts people's attention with their industrial background and its mountain view. Tourists pick up the city as part of their itinerary for the coming National Day holiday period.

With the policy of revitalizing China's northeast region being further implemented, it seems that industry in the region gains more public eyes.

At present, the city has organized some industrial travel routes, such as the oil cultural tour in Daqing, one of China's traditional oil fields; the military industrial tour to the Hua'an machinery company and a visit to the city' No.3 electricity power generating company.

These tours provide an opportunity for travelers to take a look at the "real industry" in the city.

Apart from industrial tours, mountain climbing tours display another characteristic of the city's tourism. Most of the plants growing in the mountains are changing colors at this time of the year, with leaves turning into various colors like red, orange, yellow, green or purple.

Some travel agencies said they had received many phone calls recently asking for the travel information of the region. It is expected that the cool climate and unique tourist resources in the region will bring huge business opportunities.
