Aviation Authority Considers Adjusting Landing and Parking Fees

The General Administration of Civil Aviation of China (CAAC) is considering adjusting the landing and parking fees for both domestic and foreign airlines, the Beijing News reported.

According to a proposal issued recently by the CAAC, it plans to lower the landing and parking fees for foreign airlines by average 20 to 30 percent.

Meanwhile, the landing and parking fees of domestic airlines for international destinations will be raised by around 70 percent, and that for domestic routes will be lifted by more than 15 percent.

The proposal is expected to formally come into force after being revised and approved by concerned departments in the first quarter next year.
