Chinese Travel Agency Cooperates with Film Director in Marketing

Noted Chinese film director Feng Xiaogang and Chinese tourism website Mango have started cooperation to promote film and tourism marketing in 2006.

Starting from April, the "Banquet" film trip will provide free trips for lucky draw winners to the film shooting spots in Anji County, Zhejiang Province. Before the Cannes film show, Mango will offer low price of 4006.6 yuan (US$500) for members to join the trip with the film group.

Mango have reached agreements with Brother Film Company to promote various routes shot in the films. As the living standards rise, the demand on the tourism market will change. Travelers now pay more attention to rational consumption, said Wu Zhiwen, executive president of Mango.

He said sightseeing will gradually change from "pursuit of more scenic spots" to "pursuit of comfort and relaxation"; instead of group travelers, people prefer individual trips.

Investing 400 million yuan in Mango, Hong Kong Tourism Company aimed to provide quality tourism products and services to customers through high technology and website.
