Independent Travel to Singapore and Malaysia Made Difficult

Independent travellers to Singapore and Malaysia will have to provide a certificate of deposit while applying for visas in the near future.

According to Chongqing Daily, independent travelers will have to present a certificate of balance deposit and proof of a round-trip airline ticket. Tourists visiting Malaysia for the first time cannot acquire multiple entry visas.

Changes in visa applications procedures have not yet taken place.
