The Crowne Plaza Shenzhen, Crowne Plaza Guihe Jinan, and Holiday Inn Hefei were listed among China’s Best Business Hotels by Forbes China yesterday.
The awards were presented yesterday after the 2006 Forbes China City Investment Forum at a ceremony held at the Crown Plaza Chengdu.
These rankings demonstrate the InterContinental Hotels Group’s brands ability to meet the needs and expectations of business travelers and meeting planners.
China's Best Business Hotels Awards are organized by Forbes China. Awards are given to the 50 best luxury hotels chosen from around 300 five star hotels, located in 33 cities in China.
The winners were evaluated by a committee made up of a professional group of hotel reviewers, assigned by Forbes China, to inspect and experience the hotels chosen to ensure that they represented the best business hotels in China.
All winning hotels will be included in the "China's Best Business Hotels" book compiled by Forbes China.
Mr Edmond Ip, chief operating officer of InterContinental Hotels Group, North Asia said, "This is a major achievement for InterContinental Hotels Group in one of our fastest growing markets worldwide. Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts and Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts are the key brands of the InterContinental Hotels Group operating in China. That three of our hotels under these brands were ranked among China's Best Business Hotels by Forbes China is clear evidence of our commitment to providing business travelers and meeting planners with comprehensive services and facilities that they value."
